1. Amazing Horne Lake Race
What would you do to win the amazing race? Students will find themselves racing their way around Horne Lake Regional Park! A series or tasks, challenges, and u-turns will have students doing some of the wackiest things imaginable! Not just an “Amazing Race” our challenges will include elements of “Fear Factor” “Survivors” and some good old “game show” style questions! Duration: 2 hours Cost: $17.50+GST per student
2. Wilderness Skillzzzz!
Take a walk on the wild side and learn a few do's and don'ts of staying safe in the forest. What should you take? Where should you sleep? Try your hand at building a debris shelter and imagine snuggling in for a nap...but not before you learn some basic fire starting techniques! Gain the skillz to head to the hillz in this nifty exploration of Horne Lake Regional Park. Duration: 2 hours Cost: $21+GST per student
3. Can You Can-oe? Yes You Can!! (Canoeing Program)
Our interactive and entertaining approach to teaching water safety and basic canoeing skills will leave students feeling comfortable and confident in a canoe in no time. J-stroke, draw-stroke, PFD, paddle and stern…it’s no “Yoke”! Students will be familiar with these terms and more after a session at the Horne Lake Regional Park waterfront. Duration: 1.5 to 4+ hours Cost: $24 to $39+GST per student
4. Learn to Fish
This exciting hands-on program will have students fishing in no time!! Designed by the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC, Learn to Fish helps students grasp the basics of freshwater fish ID, habitat requirements and conservation before moving on to learning knot tying, and the basics of rods, reels, lines and tackle. Finally, in case the students do land the “big one”, they will be knowledgeable in proper fish handling techniques!! All equipment is provided! Duration: 2 to 3.5hours Cost: $24 to $39+GST per student
5. Rock Rappelling
Try the challenge of natural rock. This popular program run with our partners at Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park is designed to provide basic experience "on-rope" in a fun and supportive environment. Challenging overhanging rappels matched with the age and ability level of the gropu. All partiicpants are instructed in rock and rope safety and fitted with UIAA approved helmets, harnesses and rappelling gear. While on the rock, campers are secured by a safety line at all times.

6. Caving/ School Geology Tour
Come and experience one of Vancouver Island's most outstanding natural wonders. Our partners at Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park have created this program designed specifically to support school curriculum. Students explore the geologic history of underground caverns, learn about crystal formations and see ancient fossils. This unique program combines an excellent learning environment with fun-filled adventure. What they learn in a cave they won't soon forget. Group Size 10-18 People: Age 5-11yrs: $24+GST per person Age 12yrs+: $27+GST per person Duration: 2.5 hours
