Our important goal is to connect people with nature through environmental education.  The continuation of Vancouver Island’s environmental education in Provincial Parks relies heavily on donations.  If you would like to support the Goldstream or Rathtrevor Beach Nature Houses and the the interpretive programs provided please consider making a donation to the Nature House program with the BC Parks Foundation by clicking here.  

Donations can be made in the following ways:

1. Make a donation through the BC Parks Foundation website and choose the Nature House program to direct your funds.

2. Come out to the Goldstream Nature House and make a cash donation

3. If you own a local business or know of one that would be interested in supporting what we do, please consider becoming a Goldstream Chum!

Where do the Proceeds Go?

All proceeds from donations go directly back towards environmental education in our parks.  We strive to make it possible for every school group regardless of socio-economic status to connect with nature.  Some of the important environmental education causes that your proceeds go towards include:

• Development of new environmental education programs
• Free family nature programs in the summer
• New Nature House exhibits
• Providing salmon run and eagle programs at Goldstream so that all classes can have a chance to connect with nature
